BIPOC filmmakers often face unique hurdles in an industry where our voices are still underrepresented. Despite these challenges, our team is committed to telling stories that celebrate the beauty of Black love and the transformative power of connection.

We’re honored to have been recently awarded $50,000 through BlackStar Projects to produce African | American and are excited to have wrapped principal photography in December 2024. As we conclude our pick-up shoots and move into post-production, we are in need of extra support! We hope to raise $8,000 to cover additional expenses.

Your contribution will help us secure additional equipment rentals, support crew fees, music composition, color grading, sound design, mixing, editing, as well as our marketing campaign.
